Event Manager

Description

Event Managers are responsible for overseeing all events hosted by E4I. This includes gathering event information, submitting event information to our Web team, contacting speakers with information/updates, and supervising live events. EMs must possess strong collaboration skills and demonstrate professionalism. 

Time

  • Flexible

    • Depends on amount of guest speakers (1-2 hours/speaker)

  • Answer speaker questions before event​

  • Sit in on live events (1-2 hours)

Requirements

  • 8th grade or higher

  • Strong writing skills

  • Ability to collaborate with others and meet deadlines

Tasks

  • Gather event information from speaker and submit information to Web team to be added to website

  • Answer speakers' questions on a timely basis​

  • Sit in on speaker events and supervise meeting to ensure a smooth event
