About the event
Join us in part 3 of our College Student Series to hear from Sonali Singh! Sonali is a PhD student at UC Berkeley researching Gene Therapies for Retinal Degeneration after she completed her undergraduate degree at UC Riverside, where she majored in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. She also spent some time working as a Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, studying the role of the autoimmune disease-associated transcription factor, TFII-I, in murine T cells. She has been interested in eye biology since a young age and hopes to continue her career developing therapeutics for the visually impaired. For her hobbies, she is also an avid dancer, dancing in the Superbowl 50 halftime show.
